In celebration of National Blood Donor Month – a tradition each January spotlighting the lifesaving act of donating blood and platelets – AEG’s LA Kings and the Kings Care Foundation recently kicked off its blood drive series in conjunction with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) at Crypto.com Arena (formerly STAPLES Center).

“One of the first events I went to as a player when I joined the Kings was a visit to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, so to see the partnership last as long as has, and to see how it has grown, has been great,” said LA Kings President and Hockey Hall of Famer Luc Robitaille. “Giving blood is something that is pretty easy, and this year we are rewarding our fans by giving them tickets to a game. Make sure to register first and I encourage you to participate if you can.”
