He is deeply committed to community empowerment and the power of creative media to generate positive social change. Sean joined Media Impact after more than 20 years in the development and communications fields. His multi-sector background includes 12 years with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), five years with the Canadian government as a Policy Advisor and Economist on energy and environment issues, four years working with international non-governmental organizations such as ICLEI (Secretary General) and most recently as Vice-President of RARE in Washington, D.C. Sean holds dual Canadian and South African citizenship, and has lived and worked in more than seventy countries. He received an MSc from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a BA in Economics from the University of British Columbia. PCI12561
